Despite the fact most of it has its own natural wrapping anyway, often, fruit and vegetables are packaged in plastic in the supermarket. But US food tech company Apeel is committed to changing this.

The latest launch from Apeel Sciences is designed to enhance the fresh produce supply chain even further. Dubbed "The Apeel Leverage," the initiative wields Apeel’s innovative, plant-based technology to transform operational efficiencies, expand market reach, and maximize both product quality and retail performance.
